First, you should select what type of scrapbook you would like to make. There are different sizes which are available in bookstores and online.

The most common sizes are the 8×12 and the 12×12 inch formats. Those formats are more costly but they have qualities that are above average and that can contain a large number of collections.

The 8×11 format works the best as it can fit the ink jet printers that are generally of the same size. You can also use 3 ring binders, which is a great option for a scrapbook.

You may even place the pages similar to the format of a post type binder where you can create a double outline. The sheets are attached closely in order that they can be used as one outline. Even if they are not put separately on the printer you can develop footage on that format.

There are far more cheap paper and scrapbook layouts that you can get in the 8×12 format. Keep that in mind when shopping for binders and themed paper.

You can have increased space from the pages if you choose to use three ring binders for your scrapbook. Actually it is better to have a top quality binder available before you arrange your photos.

It is not a good idea to use a spiral non-removable scrapbook since you’ll be limited on one special page and you may want to rearrange the pages. It is not unusual for people to find they want to insert photos somewhere in the scrapbook after completing it. This will not be possible if you choose to use a non-removable scrapbook.
